The capitalist view of human existence or capitalist telos is that the whole is sum total of its warring parts, while the socialist historical telos is that that the whole is different than the sum total of its parts, in so far as it aims for the end of the struggle for human existence. The mechanical anti-historical view (the whole = its parts) is preserved by false universals such as law & order, the State, and the military which claim to serve the whole but in actuality serve the particular interests that control and benefit from them. But there is a real conflict between the needs of individuals and the needs of a capitalist society that claims to have ended the historical struggle, and this contradiction can only be preserved by force, and likewise, can only be overthrown by an even greater force.
The telos of science under capitalism has been acheved, which is unceasing ever-increasing profit and productivity without end, and not the elimination of scarcity, poverty, and global human misery, which is the true essence and telos of real science.
The problem with "capitalist scientific rationality": It can never formulate ULTIMATE AIMS, and is only capable of describing the "HOW" never the "WHY."

after the WTC destruction. Seized and plunged in the “Cuue” (i.e., in
Renaissance French, a fermentation cauldron used for mixing chemicals,
poisons, etc) is a reference to the seizures and drowning effects of a
modern day plague.
Notice “Cuue” is capitalized in the original
quatrain (SEE ABOVE) to show that this is the most important element in
the quatrain.
The poisoning of the water mentioned here is of an
entirely different nature, as boiling the water or bottled water - if
it were meant literally -could eliminate the poison.
But this poisoning is far more serious as it cannot be avoided (i.e., forced to drink).
The
drowning effects of a modern day plague is implied. Sulfur is a
symbolic reference to brimstone (i.e., The Wrath of God). Water is the
way God destroys man during the “Flood.”
